ALRIGHT LEMME MAKE IT CLEAR HERE:
I AM NOT OPRESSEDWhy would I be?
When some people see a little girl wearing a hijab they flip:
"How dare the parents!"
"Oh, the poor thing."
"Sweetie are you abused at home?"
"Call child services!"But when they see a little girl with a handbag and makeup it's whole different story:
"Oh what a darling!"
"What sweet parents"
"She's beautiful."
"That's right, YOU GO GLEN COCO!!!"Really?
I mean, EXCUUUSSSE ME for being modest. I don't want random people to see my hair or parts of my body they're not meant to. That my right. But no here it's all about looking pretty, being thin and how many jaws you can get dropping.
I don't like that.
Just coz a women is covered doesn't mean she's oppressed.
How stupid is it that some people say a girl can wear whatever she wants but only if it's the length of a minidress.Naaaah imma keep my hijab on my head and KEEP SLAYING with it on. I don't need anyone's validation, the only one I'm trying to please is Allah.
