I inserted a coin in the vendor and smiled. Skipping happily with 2 cans in my arms I hum to myself.

Walking back I see daddy up in a tree.
"Daddy!!"
I scream out and he looks at me scared, while pointing at a dog.
But as I try to shoo it away a girl approaches the dog to make it go away.

I gasp and run up to her while she looks at me shocked.
"Thank youuu ~ !"
I hug her tightly and she freezes.
"Nyaa <3 your so cute !"
I squeal and hear daddy hop off of the tree.

Hehe ! Will she be the new land God?
Who knows..

I smile cheerfully and back off while daddy talks to the girl, hearing their conversation her name is Nanami. What a lovely name !
In regard to what she done, he plants a kiss on her forehead.

I clap and I come to her side, whispering.
"Aye.. We'll be great friends!"
And what a kind girl he chose. As long as she can handle Tomoe. Hehe.

He hands her a paper of the shrine and I grin.

We say our goodbyes and off she goes..

"Say, Shina you didn't greet yourself and stop calling me daddy. You're nearly an adult"
Mikage smiles down at me and I smile back gently.

Which than turns into a whine, but I want to stay with you forever !!
"Such a strange girl you chose, shall I guide her ?" I spoke.

"I want you to help her, and when Tomoe is ready... Go back to the Gumiho Shrine"
"Your shrine"
"And Shina, don't take your mask off, your appearance will cause a crowd and attract people"

He states my shrine and I smile, lowering my head.
"Okay, I'll see ya later alligator ! I promise I won't take it off !"
Poking my tongue out.

Taking my bag with me I teleport to Nanami.
This'll be so fun !
Like most hours, days, even years ...

I won't stop having fun. All to myself...

I see she's already met Tomoe and the spirits.
Wandering by I purposely bump into her.
"Oh sorrayyy!!"
Tomoe looks at me annoyed and I wink at him.

She apologised instead and I gave her a heartwarming hug, to which she froze.

She'll probably won't even remember me...
As long as someone can I'll be alright.

"... Have I met you before?"

I knew it.. I smiled gently and I felt tears forming my eyes but held it back..
"Uh nope! But you're soo cute !"
I squealed with delight and she smiled.

"Hey, you're a land god now!"
She looked at me curious and she answered with a, mm?
"Anyways, my name is Shina! and you're Nanami"

But Tomoe butted in and poked a leave in my hair, eh??
He looked at me blatantly.

"Go away, shortie"
I swear.. I felt an arrow just poke at me.
"Ehh that's no fun Tomoe"
I tackled him into a bear hug and I laughed.

And so did she.. I smiled and hugged her too.
If only it would be like this.
"Sorry, gotta gooo! I'll visit time to time"

And gave them a symbol of love with my hands.
"Love ya bubz!"
Before they could say anything I disappeared.

I'll soon disappear... Haha, of course I will I'm a god of Memory. Just a forgotten memory..

"Tomoe, is Shina a god too?"
She spoke and I twitched with annoyance,

The words of obedience.. Where the hell is Mikage leaving me with a useless human girl !
But a shock came through me and I spoke with loyalty. I'm her familiar now.. !

"Yes Shina is a God, a God of memories and time. No one knows her, and no one will"
"Because in an instant you won't even remember her... That's who Shina is"
I lowered my head and imagined her smiling face.

"Who's Shina?"
