Today's Christmas Eve! One of my favorite holidays so my twin daughters, Brianna and Gabby, are making sugar cookies with their mommy. My boyfriend Kelly hasn't came back down stairs yet but oh well.
"Mommy, can we make this one into Santa?" Brianna said to me
"Yeah please mommy!!!!!" Gabby said jumping up and down
"Of course, babies." I said to her while getting the Santa shaped cookie cutter
We made Christmas tree, Snowflake, and Santa shaped cookies and we all decorated them and set them on the holiday platter Kelly gave me for our one year anniversary which was exactly three years ago. I'm giving him his gift tonight too 🙈
"Mommy, where's daddy?" Gabby said looking around
"HO! HO! HO! MERRY CHRISTMAS... EVE!!" Santa said.. Santa as in my boyfriend of now four years
"Wha wha... SANTA!!!!" The girls said looking at each other
"Yes it's me. And I have a special treat for you three lovely ladies." He said with a hence of smirk in his tone
He passed the girls these two small gifts and gave me one as well
"At the count of three you can all open your gifts." He said
"One... Three!!" Gabby said instantly ripping the paper with Brianna following her lead then I followed as well and instantly put my hand on my mouth when I saw the red velvet box with Santa on his knee
"Jay.. We've been dating for five years and you've blessed me with those two beautiful kids and I'm extremely grateful. Ever since I laid eyes on you, it's the moment I knew I loved you. I should've done this two years ago but I wanted to make sure I had my life together and now I know this is what ice been wanting for all this time. Baby... Will you marry Santa?" He said smiling at you
"YES A HUNDRED TIMES YES!!!!!" You said jumping on him before he slipped the ring on. He leaned it to kiss you when the girls said
"MOMMY KISSED SANTA EWWWWW!"
"Santa we made you cookies!" Gabby said smiling
"I think I have a cookie to eat tonight." He said grabbing onto your waist
