All Darla wanted this summer was to be with her best friend, Celeste, before they headed to college. Her summer plans came tumbling down when her parents forced her to spend the rest of her summer with her other relatives in Miami, Florida, who had been aching to meet her for the longest time. Along the way, Darla stumbles upon Caleb. He was the kind of guy your parents wouldn't want you to date: he stole, drank, smoked, etc. But, regardless of all of this, there was something about Caleb that attracted Darla. She felt as if something between them just clicked. Unfortunately, her family disapproved of him, but that didn't stop her from seeing him. This summer, she knew for a fact, would be one she'd always remember
