The room was dim with nothing but a single flickering light bulb dangling from the low ceiling to illuminate the area, as always. A cold, chrome table was placed dead center of the room and two chairs were stationed across from each other. The man was standing where he always was, a few feet from the table in a corner, shadows hiding his features. After a minute of crackling silence, he spoke. Right on time.
"Sit."
You sat.
"Are you afraid?"
You shook your head.
"Are you sure?"
You nodded.
The man strode quickly to the light and pulled the chain. The light flickered out, but not before you caught a glimpse of the man's messy black hair and luminous red eyes. The room was plunged into a darkness so pure, you felt as if no light would ever penetrate it.
The man placed his hands on your hips. You draped your arms across his shoulders, letting him lift you from the chair. With him being the only thing you were touching, you felt like the two of you were floating in the void of space.
The man pressed his lips to yours and kissed you with undeniable determination and passion. You did not resist, as always.
