Maddies POV

"Ohmygosh, I feel so ugly right now." I whisper to Kenzie.
"Um, duh. We all do. Models surrounded by other models. There's bound to be unhealthy competition and lots of botox and LIPO. Best thing is, though, that is legal for us!" Kenzie grins and surveys the room.
"I'm pretty sure she's had botox. Foreheads like that are not natural." Kenzie points to a short, stocky blonde with a measuring tape and pins.
"Uh...I'm almost certain she is a dressmaker." I correct.

"So? It's botox all the same!" Kenzie strikes up a converstion with another girl about you guessed it- botox. I roll my eyes. I really feel like every time I move, I'm being judged. I hope nobody recognizes me from Dance Moms.

"I wish I had legs like that." I hear another girl whisper to her friend, pointing at me. Awkwardly, I smile at her, and she realizes I heard.

"Sorry!" She blushes beetroot. I laugh and join her.
"It's no problem, and thanks! My names Madison, but please call me Maddie." I introduce.
"Oh, hey! I'm Alyssa, but call me Ally."
"LADIES, LADIES, COME AROUND THE CATWALK FOR INTRODUCTION!" I hear someone call.
"I guess I'll see you around, Ally?"
"Kay! Bye, Maddie!"

"Hey, Mads, don't loose me!" Kenz whispers, gripping my arm.

"Shhh!" I point at the people on the catwalk.

"Okay, ladies. In just a week you'll be strutting your stuff for a Victoria's Secret Model Catwalk. There will be celebrities, journalists... talent agents. This show is rumored to be one of the biggest, and what with stars performing... we have decided to have some Victoria's secret dancers. So right now, we are holding impromtu auditions. If you can dance, meet us in studio a, the big one, out the back..." Nicole Kathran checks her watch and continues, "...in 20 minutes."

There's a wild scramble, and all the dancers and us grab our bags and race out the back to studio A.

"WOW! This is almost FATE!" I squeal to Mackenzie.

"I know right!" We walk into the huge warehouse-like studio. We set down our bags.

"Hey. Wanna be intimidating?" I whisper to Kenz.

"I'm listening..."

"Front of the barre, warm up..."

"How's that intimidating?"

"Do your best tricks and show off your flexibility."

"Let's go."

We walk over to the barre with our things. I sink into my front split, then right split, left split, leg hold at the barre, bend back, and more acro tricks etc.

There's a hushed silence watching me and Kenz warm up. The floor is relitively empty so I plug my phone into my beats by dre speaker and play "As Long As You Love Me" By Justin Bieber. I take the centre and improvise.
