The phone rang. A black haired girl, about 15, picked up the phone.
“Hello,” The girl said in a hard cold voice.
“Hello Raven,” a cold hollow voice said. “I have a job for you,”
“As always. What am I to do?” Raven asked.
“There are two people I fear will cause trouble in the future. I want you to find them and… dispose of them,” The voice said. Raven smiled. If these people could cause the man on the other end of the line trouble then they will be a challenge and fun.
“A folder with what you need to know will arrive soon,” the man said.
“And the money. You know I demand half before the job,” Raven asked.
“Raven we are going to do the deal different. If you do the job you brother will live if you fail, which you never have, he will die,” The voice said.
“I wish to talk to my brother,” Raven replied calmly. There was silence then a weary voice spoke.
“Hello Raven.”
“Caleb.”
“I am not worried that you will fail because you never fail,” the phone went dead. The doorbell rang. Raven walked over to the door and opened it. A folder was on the porch. Raven toke the folder inside and opened it. There was picture of a boy and girl. She read the names listed in the folder. They read Glitter Mane age 14 and Louis Sharpedge age 14. Raven grinned.
