Kai's eyes were still piercing through Sehun and his face looked pale as if it drained from blood. This wasn't how he expected this day to turn out. Kai felt blood boiling in his veins, beads of cold sweat forming on his forehead. He couldn't look at Sehun and his guilty expression any longer. No matter how he thought about it, all of this happened because of the other boy. Until then nobody would realise, he was doing so well and all his hard work was destroyed in a matter of seconds because of Sehun. No matter how much he got to like the boy during these past few days, he was the sole reason for all this mess.

With a screeching sound, Kai pushed his chair back. He didn't care about his teacher screaming and telling him to get back to his place – Kai couldn't hear him. He was already on his way out of the classroom. Where should he go now? There was nowhere to hide. Rumours will eventually spread like fire and there won't be way back. Heaving a sight Kai pushed the door to the boy's restroom open. Closing them, he leaned his back against it. All of this was wrong from the beginning. The way he started to feel toward Sehun, the way that boy practically announced that Kai was deaf. Why did he do it? He knew very well that Kai didn't want to let it show. That he's been trying his best to not to let it show. And Sehun ruined all of his efforts with one stupid gesture.

Bell rang, announcing the end of the lesson. Everyone except Sehun shot up from their seats, storming towards the door. The boy still had his face buried in his hands. What has he done? He knew how much it mattered to Kai... He knew and yet he made such a mistake. But it was only because he was happy. Happy that Kai felt the same way. Sehun lifted his head slowly, when he felt a hand squeezing his shoulder. It was Chen – he didn't say anything just dropped folded piece of paper onto Sehun's desk and left. Sehun unfolded the paper.

Find him, talk to him about it... He'll get over it. Do not worry.

Squeezing his eyes shut, Sehun folded the paper and put it into the pocket of his blazer. He really should talk to Kai as soon as possible. But he was afraid... afraid that Kai would reject him, same way other people always rejected him for being different. Now when he finally thought that he found a real friend who would be here for him and understand him – he ruined even the little that they had.

When Sehun peeked out of the classroom, he didn't notice anything unusual. Other students were standing by the walls, talking together, minding their own business. However when they discerned Sehun walking by, he saw how all of them were turning heads in his direction, some of them even rudely pointed fingers at him. He started to walk faster, he felt sick from the sudden attention he was getting. Just how must Kai feel now? Everyone probably knew by now. Sehun felt terrible, his stomach was knotted. His head started to ache. He had only twenty minutes left until next lesson. Where does he find Kai in such a short time? He was still new to this place, so he went to look in the park where their tree was, but Kai wasn't there. He also tried rooftop, but except for some students that Sehun recognized from other classes there was no one. No sign of Kai anywhere. Sehun looked at his wrist watch, he had eight minutes left. His heart was beating fast from all that running around looking for the other boy. Blood pounded in his ears, his headache getting worse. Sehun leaned against the wall, next to the door that lead downstairs from the rooftop. He closed his eyes, breathing heavily. He then felt a warm hand curl around his wrist.

''Are okay?'' Asked the girl and looked at Sehun with concern.

Sehun couldn't make out anything she said – he wasn't that good with reading lips anyway. He just nodded absent-mindedly and walked away from the girl. He didn't like when people pitied him, not at all. Even though he was deaf, which might have seem like something to pity him for, Sehun didn't take it that way. It was him, it was the way he was born and he wouldn't change any of that. Sehun came back downstairs. His head was still pounding, his stomach was twisting. This was, once again that time when he was having one of these moments when he felt like throwing up. His legs carried him towards the restroom. He was going to throw up, he knew that for sure. Bursting inside, not really caring who was in here, ran to one of the stalls, slamming the door shut after him.
