the tree

and apologize?"
you looked at me
all happiness
drained
from your eyes
"but he doesnt want to speak to me.
he doesnt reply to my texts anymore
nor answer my calls,"
you answered with your
lips trembling
"just give him time.
maybe he needs more time
to think.
lets try next week
okay?"
you nodded and i
hugged you while
you sobbed
onto my shirt.
itd hurt me
to see you two

but if it would
make you happy
then so be it.
