It's never easy

Those last few seconds

Saying goodbye

Trying not to cry

You just want to go back

When things were great

You were laughing together

Never once thinking this could happen

You thought you were invincible

You could live forever and stay young for eternity

Only to find that you're nothing but another human being

Definitely mortal

Definitely finite
