When he gets home, however, he learns that his father, the Duke of Ascot, has died and that he is now the Duke. And he has a wife he can no longer deny.

• Oh, how I admire the characters in this book but Bess is best of the best. She's got a backbone of a steel and is full of humour. And Emmett, no one could be as perfect as him. His physique, his personality... *swoon* Watch the dashing Duke and stubborn Bess go head to head. They're sure to be entertaining lol And this is my favourite from historical fiction. :D
