Weeks passed, I haven't seen (Name). She never showed up infront of me eversince Christmas. I tried to go to her house, But it seems like she moved to a new house. I tried to run all over the the town, every city, but she's not here. It's already time for the countdown of new year. I went in the festival, still in my ninja clothes. Looking around, it looks like she's not here. I looked at the time, it's already 11:50 PM. 10 more minutes before new year. I went in a field, where me and (Name) used to hang out every new year. I looked up, waiting for the fireworks. Suddenly, a tear dropped from my eye, "w-what's this? A-Am I crying..?" I whispered to myself, within a few seconds, I realized that I am really sad. Just now, I felt the pain that (Name) went through. The words she shouted at me kept on repeating inside my head. I don't really understand, this is the first time I felt this in my whole life. A pain that I can't easily remove. "I'm really sorry.." I said and saw the fireworks at the sky. I looked at my side, no one's there. But my mind kept on imagining that (Name) was standing there with her glittering eyes. It reminds me of back then, we used to go here and watch, just the two of us as friends. I remember that she always wear a Yukata and asked me if she looks pretty, and I always ended up ignoring her. But I really wanna say that she's already pretty even if she's not wearing a yukata. But that's all in the past...
"It's really beautiful.." I heard someone with such a soft voice, same as (Name)'s. I looked at my other side, and there's a girl sitting, far away. She's not wearing a yukata. "T-That's..." From the glittering eyes of the girl, I realized it was (Name).
I ran at her, "(Name)!"
She looked at me and stood up. I stopped infront of her. "H-Hey, (N-Name).. L-Look, I-I'm...!" Before I continue, my tears dropped and I hugged her. "(Name)..."
She isn't hugging back, within a few minutes, I released her. "(N-Name)..I...!"
I looked at her, her eyes seemed like all of her feelings faded. "I didn't imagine for you to come here. It must be my mistake to go here." She said.
"Is it too late to say Sorry...?"
"...Too late.."
