Image above is Dallas Parker.
"Katie I'm an idiot."
I looked at him with a confused expression.
"I'm an idiot who is insanely and madly in love with you." He let his breath out that he had been holding in. "I'm in love with you Katie McCall." He said looking me in the eyes. "Your the only person I want to be with and I can't picture my life without you in it. Words are useless when it comes to describing how much I love you. Your my world."
A overwhelming feeling of happiness over whelmed me and I just wanted to throw myself at him. "Well guess what Dallas Parker..." I paused.
Dallas looked at me intently.
"And your mine."
A enormous grin came across his face.
I couldn't hold myself back any longer and I jumped out of the bed running into his arms. He wrapped his arms around me and I buried my face into the crook of his neck taking in the sweet smell of vanilla.
"It took you long enough." I mumbled into his neck.
He chuckled. "I couldn't find the words."
I smiled as I felt him kiss the top of my head. I looked up and him and pushed my lips into his. Fireworks exploded into my stomach as he moved his lips with mine. A small moan escaped my mouth and I felt him lightly bite my lip as intertwined my fingers in his soft brown hair. I pulled away for a second so I could catch my breath before pressing my lips back against his. His kisses began to get more fierce and I matched it. He brushed his lips against mine before meeting mine again. He finally pulls away and rests his forehead against mine.
"Will you do me a favor?" He asks.
"Anything."
"Will you go to prom with me?"
I looked up at him. "Really?!"
He nodded.
"Yes! I'll go to prom with you!" I said before hugging him again.
The door opened to reveal my Dad. "Your Mom and Mark are on their way here."
I quickly pull away from Dallas. "Okay."
"Are you hungry?"
I nod. "I'm starving I feel like I could eat an elephant."
"I'll call your mom and ask her to get something for you to eat." He said turning and walking out into the hallway.
I nod turning to look at Dallas. "So when's prom?"
"Next Friday."
I nod. "I can't wait."
"Me neither." He gave me a lopsided smile. "One other thing." He says meeting my eyes. "How bout dinner on Thursday?"
I nod. "Of course."
"Its a date."
"Its a date." I agree.
~*~*~
My mother came in with a subway sandwich in here hand. A smile spread across her face as she sees me sitting on the edge of the bed. Mark steps out behind her and sits down in an empty chair. My Mom walks over to me and sets the sandwich down before hugging me.
"I'm glad your finally awake."
"Me too." I look over at Mark who is looking out the window at a blonde out in the hallway.
He looks over at me.
"You really should go talk to her."
"Were in a hospital." He objects.
"So. She looks like she could use some company."
He thinks about it for a second. "Alright." He gets up and leaves the room.
I pick up my sandwich and pull it open and take a bite.
"Well are you ready to go home?" My mom asks.
I nod. "I don't want to stay in this place. There's nothing to do."
My mom looks at Dallas. "You can come over and hang out if you would like."
He nods. "Okay."
