Death Traps and Final Destinations [Discontinued]

Nightmares

"Hello Jayda, I want to play a game." The mysterious figure says

"What the fuck is this around me?" I scream "Let me the fuck out!"

"This is called the Venus Fly Trap. There are simple rules you must follow to get it off... You have one minute to get the key out of your left thigh. If you don't get out in time something very bad will happen. Live or die."

I frantically look for a knife. I find the knife on the table across the room. When I stand up and start running I hear something pulled out from behind me. I stop in my tracks. "Oh shit!" I run to the table and grab the knife. I start cutting. It hurts so much! I stop for a second. "I have to keep going in order to live." I start cutting again. It's too much. Time then ends. All of a sudden the front and back of the device impales me. I collapsed to the floor.

"Holy shit!" It was just a dream.

"Are you ok hun?" My boyfriend Devon says

"Yeah I just had a bad dream." I say hyperventilating.

"Come here." He gives me a hug. "Tell me about the dream."

"I was in this room with a giant device on me, and it was called the Venus Fly Trap. I had a minute to get the key out of my leg. Suddenly time was up and then the thing closed on my face, and I woke up."

"That's horrible!"

"It was so fucking scary." I then hear my daughter Aria crying.

"I'll go get her."

"No it's fine Dev. I'll get her."

"Jay, you just had a bad dream! Let me take care of Aria."

"Fine. Can you please get me some water?"

"Sure."

"I love you."

"I love you too."

I go back to sleep because I'm still very tired. I had a good dream about our cruise we're going on tomorrow.

"Good morning, Jay."

"Morning Dev."

"How did you sleep?"

"Better than before."

"Good."

"What time is it?"

"It's 8:30."

"We have plenty of time to get ready for the cruise."

"The ship leaves at five right?"

"Yeah."

"We should pack the last minute stuff."

"That's what I was about to do."

"Ok and pack Aria's stuff of course."

"No shit." I say sarcastically. Devon gives me a kiss.

"I love you."

"I love you too."

"I'll drop Aria off at your parents' house in a bit."

"Alright."

"I can't wait to spend a week with my girlfriend."

"And I can't wait to spend a week with my boyfriend."

A few minutes later, Devon brings Aria to my parents'. Later that day Devon and I are about to get on the ship.

"This is a nice boat." I say

"It's beautiful."

"This is exciting!"

"I know right?"

Devon is best friends with the captain of the ship. They were college room mates. His name is Captain Michael James.

"Hey dude, remember me?"

"Devon?"

"Yeah how are you?"

"I'm great how about you?"

"Awesome. This is my girlfriend Jayda."

"Nice to meet you." I say

"You too."

"So what have you been up to man?" Devon says to Michael.

"Well I'm married, and I have a son named Matthew. What about you?"

"I've been dating this wonderful girl for three years now, and I have a daughter named Aria."

"That's nice."

"Yeah. I love my girls." Devon kisses me on the head.

"I should get back to the engine room."

"Alright well it was great seeing you again."

"Same here man."

The ship then leaves.

"I'm so excited, babe!" I say to Devon

"I am too hun. I want to ask you something."

"And that would be?"

Devon gets down on one knee. Pulls out a ring "Jay, will you marry me?"
