chapter -12- "tickets"

Charlie's POV :

Meghan and I got out of the building and we started walking

"why did you say that?" Meghan asked

"look Meghan , I understand that you hate Jesse and you have every right to hate him , what he did was very wrong , but you saw how happy Mikaela was with him , I don't want her to find out about his past and I don't want her heart to be broken because of it" I said

"I understand that you want to protect your sister , but she needs to find out the truth about him" Meghan said

"OK you both dated and he cheated on you with a girl and a guy but !!! 2 YEARS AGO" Charlie said

"OK , if that's what you want to do then I won't interrupt , but it's the wrong thing to do Charlie" Meghan said

I didn't reply , we reached Meghan's house , she opened the door and we entered

Meghan's brothers Justin and Ryan ran into us and they were holding knives

"stop right there" they yelled

"what the hell is this ?" Meghan asked

"sorry , we thought that you were a thief" Ryan replied

"why the hell would you think that I'm a thief?" Meghan asked

"haven't you heard the news , there is a thief that broke in into a house four streets away yesterday , he stole some of the people's money" Justin said

"poor people , if someone ever breaks in into my house , I promise that I will hit them with my steel pan so hard on their head and make them lose their consciousness" Meghan said

"yeah you'll do that , if you won't be sleeping" Ryan said

"shut up" Meghan said

"stay here Charlie , I'll bring you a ticket" Meghan said

"if you don't mind , do you have extra tickets for Mikaela and her boyfriend?" I asked

Meghan stared at me

"I have only two extra tickets , I can give one for you and the other one Is for your sister" Meghan said

I nodded my head , Meghan went upstairs to her room

"so , did you two ....?" Justin asked but he didn't finish his sentence

"no man" I replied

"Ahh then why did she sleepover at your house last night?" Ryan asked

"because it was late" I replied

"you know we don't believe you" Justin said

I laughed , "I swear we didn't ..." I said but meghan cut me off

"didn't do what?" Meghan asked

We all were staring at her , no one had the courage to tell her

"we were talking about you sleeping with Charlie last night" Justin said

"don't worry , we know and we don't have a problem with it" Ryan said

"what the hell? , we didn't sleep together last night" Meghan yelled

"I slept on the couch" I said raising my left hand

"here are the tickets" Meghan said giving me the tickets

I counted them , they were three

"these are three tickets , I thought you said that you only have two tickets" I asked

"I was just making a statement that I don't want a specific person to be at the concert" Meghan said

"who?" Ryan asked

"no one , I was just kidding" I said pushing Charlie outside , we both went outside

"listen , I would love to see you at the concert , but I can't handle to see Jesse once again , so if Jesse and your sister could go out to somewhere else tonight I would appreciate it" I said

"I'll try to convince them" I said

Meghan got closer to me , she kissed me !!! Wow that tasted like heaven

"ok , see you tonight , bye" Meghan said

"Ahhh bye" I said , I walked back to my apartment

I knocked the door , Jesse opened it and I entered

"where is Mikaela? " I asked

"she's taking a shower" Jesse said

"listen to me , I know what happened between you and Meghan , and I didn't tell my sister because I don't want her to know the truth about you , but you better treat my sister right and not break her heart , Because if you do , I'll find you , and I will beat the crap out of you" I said

"bro calm down , that was two years ago , I'm not the old me anymore I promise" Jesse said

"you better be telling the truth" I said

Mikaela walked in , "Charlie you're back" Mikaela said

"yes sis , Ahh are you guys hungry what should I order?" I said

"I already ordered Pizza" Jesse said

"oh you did , OK then" Mikaela said

"what tickets are these for?" Mikaela asked looking at my bucket

Stupid me , I didn't put the tickets deep down in my bucket

"Ahhh these are tickets for the concert that Meghan is going to perform at tonight" I replied

"wait , Meghan is a singer? " Jesse asked

"yes she is , and a successful one" I said , telling Jesse that she is way better off without him

Mikaela's POV :

I noticed something going on between meghan and Jesse when we came to Charlie's apartment , Meghan and Charlie said that Meghan and Jesse were dating before but Meghan had to break up with him for her musical career .

When Charlie and Meghan left , I asked Jesse about their relationship but he didn't say much .

I was taking a shower and when I finished and came to the sitting room I heard Jesse and Charlie talking , I eavesdropped on them , I heard Charlie say that he knows what Jesse had done to Meghan two years ago but be doesn't want me to find out .

And the awkward thing is that Jesse asked Charlie If Meghan was a singer , while Charlie and Meghan already said before that Meghan left Jesse for her musical career , then why did Jesse ask his question
