Chapter Fourteen

I’m not really sure what happened that night. That was the last time I ever talked to Tyler Goodmen. I’m not sure if he took her back inside and reassured her that he'd never leave her. I don’t know if Seth convinced him to follow through with their plan to move.

I haven’t been able to reach him for almost thirteen months, but perhaps things will change now. I’ve got a cellphone again, so maybe I’ll text him just to remember what we once shared. There will always be a place in my heart that holds true to Tyler, but you must never live in the past; you'll lose sight of the present.

Besides, thirteen months is a very long time, maybe he's with someone new. I might just be a vague memory in his head. I could even be the reason for a hole in his heart. The possibilities are endless, but I cant dwell.

To be honest, I’ve moved on from my Tyler Goodmen. Right now, I’m talking to an amazing guy who cares for me a lot. This time though, I wont rush the relationship. I'll take it slow and let all the little pieces fall into their places. If things are right, it'll all work out in the end. “Until then” I suppose.
