Ever since kageyama and hinata mastered their insane quick Hinata asked every second for a toss. to put it in kageyama's words hinata was being and 'annoying dumbass' but deep down inside I guess kageyama liked getting bugged for tosses.
"Kageyama! One more" Hinata insisted
"No!" Kageyama snapped
"Aw please" Hinata begged "just one more" skipping over to him with a ball in his hands and puppy dog eyes"pleaseeeeeeeee"
"I said no!" he growled turning his back to Hinata and continued to take down the net.
"Ughhhhh fine" Hinata groaned
"Don't complain! It's almost 10:30!"
"I know I know!" Hinata yelled back grabbing the broken floor brush and started running back and forth. he got about half way then he stopped and put us arm on the top of the broom for support and looked towards kageyama "but..."
"But what!" Kageyama darted his eyes over in his direction
"Nothing" Hinata squeaked and continued sweeping in silence
"that's what I thought" Kageyama mumbled as he finished putting the last few things inside the storage room
"Race you to the club room" Hinata said dashing out the gym doors.
"you're on" he replied as he locked up the gym doors and proceded to sprint after the orange headed boy.
"I WON!" Hinata yelled jumping around
"Shut up dumbass you had a head start!" kagyeama rolled his eyes
"Oi, i'm not a dumbass" Hinata whined
"Said the dumbass" Kageyama said cockily opening the door and letting Hinata in, and proceeded to follow him in.
"Whatever" Hinata mumbled
"Whatever" Kageyama mumbled imitating Hinata
"Shut up bakaeyama" Hinata teased grabbing his stuff and heading out
"Dumbass" Kageyama shot back leaving the room with his stuff and locking the door putting the key in his gym bag
"wow very original but, at least your consistant with your insults"
the two boys walked down the dim lit road, the walk is normally pretty silent as it was this time aswell. only the sound of a slight breeze and some coytes howling in the background were normally head. suddenly one of them spoke.
"this might sound odd but i really enjoy pratcing with you after everyone is gone, you know like just you and me." hinata said pretty silently. he looked up at the taller boy to see that he was hiding his head in his sweater.
...
"I didnt mean it as a bad thing you know its just that i'd rather it be you i pratice with than you know Sugawara, but dont teel him i said that. i guess your just diffrent. you more than just my friend, maybe a best friend but like better you know?"
"ha yea i guess" kageyama mumbled trying not to look directly at hinata
"pratice again tomorrow?" hinata suggested as they approched the fork in the road where theyd have to part ways for the night.
"always" kageyama said softly as he looked up and smiled. but that was quickly followed by "see you tomorrow dumbass"
"right back at ya" hinata winked and ran off
was that weird to say hinata though to himself like that was something normal to say to a friend. i mean i really like kageyama and i wouldnt want to live without him, he's like my wing man in everything. honestly wouldnt know what i'd do with myself if he just dissapeared. i just wish we would do more than just volley ball together. hinata sighed at his own thoughs not knowing what he was wanting anymore.
"hey mum" hinata said as he walked throught the front door of the house "im exausted" he stated whild dropping his gym bag by the door
"SHOYOOOOO!!!" Natsu yelled running towards him and grabbing him into a hug
"What did I tell you about staying out this late?!" Hinata's mom said as she aswell pulled him in for a hug
"I'm sorry but I was practicing with Kageyama" he explained
"You should invite that boy over I would love to meet him. you sure talk alot about him"
"What no, it's not that i don't want to..." a light pink brushed his cheeks "it's just, i guess we're just volleyball friends" he sighed
"well alright its your choice, but im sure he'd say yes if you invited him over. ill even make himemade pork buns? ill leave you to think on it, i have to get this little devil to sleep" she said pointing towards natsu then proceeded to chase her down the hall.
Hinata grogally walked down the hall to his room and texted Kenma

He waited for a reply putting his phone on his chest waiting he kicked his feet up and down in his bed and realized he was still in his practice clothes, I will take a shower tomorrow morning he thought as he grabbed a PJ shirt and some pants and changed. he heard his phone vibrateand rushed over to answer it

He put his phone on his desk and got into bed thoughts flew through his mind, maybe he would see if kageyama wanted to do something other than volley ball for once.
