Los Angeles! We arrived in L.A. and got a rental car. Dean put our bags in the trunk and Roman walked up to us.
"Hey." he said.
"Hey." I said.
"Do you mind if I ride with you guys?" Roman asked.
"What's wrong with Seth?" Dean asked.
"He and I got into it. I don't really wanna ride with him right now."
"Absolutely." I said.
We all got in the car. Dean was driving, I sat passenger and Roman sat in the back.
"So what are we doing today since we have the day off?" Roman asked.
"We are going to check out the house I bought online last night. Uncle Randy flew home this morning and he helped me buy the house. It's amazing." I said.
"Well, alright then." he said.
"Let's just drop our stuff off at the hotel and then we'll go." Dean said.
"No. Let's just go. We don't have to get any furniture because I had it furnished last night. I bought everything online and the landlord left the door unlocked so the movers can move everything in. I'm sure it's all set up by now and I was thinking we could have a celebratory party tonight at my new house." I said.
"Now that's what I'm talking about." Dean said.
"Yeah. But you guys haven't seen the house yet." I told them.
"Jaylynn, are you being girly right now?" Roman asked.
"Hey, I do have my moments."
Dean and Roman both laughed and we drove to the house. I gave Dean specific directions since I had memorized them. I mean, it was my new home. I had to.
We pulled into the driveway of a huge, beautiful house. It was something you would see rich people live in. I couldn't deny it. It was absolutely beautiful.
"Baby girl, this is your house?" Roman asked.
"Yep. It's all mine." I said admiring the entire front of the house. It was amazing. "Let's go in."
We all walked to the front door and I unlocked it. I walked in and was amazed. The movers did an amazing job setting up the furniture. I didn't even need to move anything. It was all placed perfectly. Compared to the house, I looked extremely plain and like I didn't belong there. I was wearing black skinny jeans, a white tank top, Jason's red white and grey letter jacket and my white red and grey Jordans.
"Wow." I said. "This is my house. This is my new home."
"You did a great job picking out babe." Dean said completely in awe.
I walked around the house getting a feel for it and just taking it all in. This was insane but I loved it. I got my phone out and dialed my father's number.
"Hey sweetheart." he answered.
"Daddy, you won't believe this. I have my own house." I said excitedly.
"What? Your own house? Where?" he asked.
"L.A. This house is amazing daddy. You would love it. You have to come see it soon." I told him.
"I will put that on my list of things to do. You sound really happy." he said.
"I am. Daddy, everything is finally falling into place. I'm no longer living a nightmare. I feel like I'm living in a dream now."
"I told you. All you had to do was wait it out and you did. I'm so proud of you."
"Thank you. I love you daddy. Thank you for believing in me." I said.
