When will this circle stop turning

When will I emerge from the darkness

And realize the light of the truth

I want to sever this chain

The sharp blade shines with agony

From every smile I believed

From every broken promise

They just want a piece of what I’ve got

Put it’s not theirs to take

Yet I’m still the one that breaks

Bad luck is in my blood

I’m bloody, wounded, and used, can’t take another stab to the back

They knew too well

They had it planned out

Wanted to put me through hell

Like an omega of their pack

I should have known

I was blind from being too naive

It was a gruesome pratfall from my innocent beliefs

It’s all buried in my heart

They still walk around

With false skins

Those who wear masks

Don’t see their eyes

You won’t be able to look away

From Medusa’s reincarnations

Grand master puppeteer and I’m the opening act

I’ve had enough

Now it’s my turn to kill what’s left of us

Stitched wounds that won’t heal

These scars remind me not to trust because it kills
