Saitama X Female Reader (OPM)

(OPM: Act 32) Not Just Yuu, But Everyone Too

As a group, you all headed back to the apartments to be welcomed by everyone who cheered for you all.

"You guys are real heroes! Thank you!"  

Although they all acknowledged you all, most of the girls swooned over Yuu who still held Haruka's hand. 

"Now, now ladies" Yuu smiled. "I am not the only one. These two really did a great job, please thank them as well" he pointed to you and Saitama.

Saitama who stood by your side had the girls look at him confused, which you understood but you ended up hugging him, thanking him in their place. "Thank you Saitama for helping out everyone!"

"...Yeah" he nodded.

"Say, Say! Let me take a photo!" a man who survived stated as he held on to a camera in his fingertips. 

"...You must be a reporter" Yuu smiled.  "Please acknowledge everyone. " he stated. "I could not have done it alone and I want everyone to know. " 

"Okay, Okay" the man nodded talking to Yuu on the side.

Letting out a sigh, Saitama rubbed his head, to which you smiled to him. 

"So, about your hair, what is up with that?" Saitama touched your hair.

"I don't k-"

Interrupted, Genos appeared before you two, panting, "Y-You both are okay..." his body had steam coming out, ah, he must have been fighting as well. 

"Genos!" you smiled to him to which he looked at you confused before realizing who you were.

"Oh" Genos hummed. "Your hair"

"Yes, I know" you chuckled nervously, to which he fell to the ground on his back.

"O-Oi, are you okay?" Saitama looked down at him.

"Yes sensei, I am fine, I just need to rest a bit" he replied closing his eyes letting out deep sighs.

"...Geez" Saitama looked around to see the rest of the survivors.

"I am glad we all survived but..."

"Where are we going to stay?"

"What should we do?"

The crowd of people began to worry, as they mumbled to themselves, Yuu and Haruka talked to the man with the camera, but suddenly stopped when he heard the commotion.

"That is easy! You will stay here" he smiled to everyone. "As long as you are within these gates, you will be protected, I guarantee it" Yuu added as he spoke loud and clear.

"Oh. I feel so protected already" Saitama sarcastically mumbled.

"And THIS guy" Yuu dragged Saitama to his side. "Is one of the strongest heroes I have ever met, as much as I hate to say it, he is much stronger than me! So don't worry! You are in good hands"

"....ok" Saitama had a poker face as the crowd cheered.

"Yes! If Yuu states it, it must be true!" the people began to sigh relieved.

"B-But isn't that guy a B rank..? And the lowest..?"  some mumbled.

Yuu's eyes glared at them and lifted up the bunch that stated that.

"Listen here" he smiled to them. "Saitama is dependable, id appreciate it if you took my word" he stated, making the crowd silent.

"...... You aren't falling for me too are 'Yuu' now?" Saitama glared at Yuu, slowly taking steps back from him.

"Like hell I am!" Yuu hissed at him. "I am just speaking up for you because I have witnessed upfront that you are strong. So it's n-not like I personally care or anything!" he humphed as Haruka tugged on his shirt.

"W-Well anyways" he looked at the crowd. " There is a few open rooms here. As the owner of these apartments, I will have you all stay in the rooms available for the  meanwhile the town is remade". "Everyone will be roomed by siblings, relatives, or gender" Yuu explained. "So please stick together with familiars at all times, it won't be much room for so many of you, but I will try my best to clear out the available rooms as much as possible.

"U-Um!" you cleared your throat. "I can have the girls who don't see their relatives stay with me for the meanwhile.. Well if you want" you offered.

"What? Nooo" the teenage girls replied. "I rather stay with Yuu!" the girls exclaimed. 

"Ehh?" Yuu rubbed his head. 

"I wanna stay with the bald one!" the little kids stated.  

"Yeah! I wan' mess with 'im!" some of the toddles giggled.

"...." Saitama glared at them, to which you poked his shoulder.

"Why not? They seem to like you"

".." The group of young kids didn't seem to like him for the right reason however.

"Hey! Hey! How old are you?" the group of children tugged on his cape.

"Why do you have this weird outfit on?"

"Why are you bald?"

Their words all collapsed together, making it hard to understand what each one was saying.  As they tugged on him, some clung to his legs, while some made their way up to his stomach. 

"How cute" you smiled, to which Saitama had a poker face. "....No"

"Anyways" you leaned down and patted some of the kids heads. "Why don't the girls stay with me, and the boys stay with him?"

"I want to go!" a few group of girls tugged on you. 

As the little girls approached you, you noticed the boy you saved earlier approach you as well.

"Oh it is you!" you smiled and reached out for his hand. "Did you find your parents honey?"

"....No..." he sniffed, "To be honest... I think... they were beat up by one of the monsters..." he kept going. "They both told me to run when one of the buildings came down on them, and and..." he began to shake in place. "I couldn't do anything..."

"No. no" you hugged him. "It is okay honey... it isn't your fault" stroking his hair, you tried to calm him down. 

Saitama noticed you hugging the child and walked towards you with the group of kids hanging on his clothes. Not knowing what was going on, he had an idea of the scenario and he patted the boy's hair as well. "Don't worry! I will protect you. As long as I am here, you will be safe, so.. don't feel down okay?"

"..." the little boy sniffed looking back at him. "O-Okay"

You almost wailed. "That.Was.So.Beautiful.Saitama"
