"I hate you!" Lydia yelled at her obnoxious twin, Luke Hemmings. "Just because you are a douche to everyone doesn't mean you can be one to me! I'm your sister, Luke! Does that not mean anything to you?"

Luke rolled his eyes and said, "I was not being a douche to you, Lydia. I'm just saying that Scott is to good for you."

Lydia was shaking she was so angry. Her eyes were brimming with tears. "At least I can stay with one person! You have a new girl every week!"

"At least I'm attractive enough to get more than one person to look at me! At least I'm not a freak like you!" Luke was yelling in Lydia's face now.

By now, Lydia was shaking so violently that she could hardly stand. "We are twins Luke!"

"Fraternal! That means we don't look alike! Are you stupid or something?" Luke screamed.

Lydia took a deep breath and calmly said, "Luke we do look alike, but I'm not arguing with you. Scott Carson, the star football player, asked me out. And I'm saying yes."

"Fine. But don't say I didn't warn you." Luke said and walked away heavily.

Lydia took out her phone and texted her best friend Maddy.

Lydia: Me and Luke just had a huge fight.

Maddy: When do you not fight?

Lydia: No this was different. Scott Carson asked me out, and Luke said he was no good for me and that he's too good for me.

Maddy: Well that is kinda weird.

Lydia didn't text back. She took a shower and laid down to go to sleep.

-------Two months later, on the first day of junior year-------

Lydia woke up to her alarm playing True Friends by Bring Me The Horizon. She turned her radio on, trying to make it louder than Luke's, and went to get ready. She washed her face and put on makeup. She put on concealer and foundation. Then, she put on blush and smoky eye shadow. She put on eyeliner and mascara.

Lydia flat ironed her hair and tried to pick out what she was going to wear. She decided on a black Pierce The Veil t-shirt, flannel, and light wash skinny jeans. She put on her black converse and walked downstairs.

"Luke hurry up! If you're not down here ready to go in five minutes, I'm leaving you!" Lydia yelled.

Luke walked downstairs three minutes later and walked to Lydia's car. He should have been able to drive, but he failed his test. On the way to school, Lydia played All Time Low. The only thing Luke and she had in common was their looks and their taste in music.

They got to school and Luke walked to his group of friends, and Lydia walked over to Scott. She smiled at him, and he moved to hug her. She hugged him back and said, "Hi."

"Hey." Scott's deep voice said.

Scott and Lydia had gone on six dates. Most were small, but two or three were fancy. Lydia knew that she had fallen for Scott hard. He was sweet and she loved his black hair and blue eyes. She loved0 that he made it clear that he loved her the way she loved him.

The bell rang to go to first period, and Lydia looked at her schedule that she got in the mail:

First: Honors Physics (8:00-8:45)

Second: Honors Chemistry (8:50-10:00)

Third: Honors Literature (10:05-11:00)

Free Period/Lunch (11:00-12:00)
