You saw the same thing everyday, people bumping into each other and their arms exploding with colour.
Soul mates was something you never found, basically people had colours in their skin, for example you were blue, a nice duck egg blue.
Now if your soul mate was green, if he or she touched you, you would turn yellow.
It's like mixing paint.
The only thing is, everyone you've touched haven't reacted.
You walked with your head hung low to a near by diner, the rain hitting your hood.
You pushed the door open and took your hood off, the warm air hitting your face. You noticed it was empty apart from the old couple and two men sat in the corner.
You walked over to a booth and got your phone out, waiting for the waitress. You ordered a coffee and a slice of cake.
You looked up and out the window when in the reflection you saw one of the men staring, he had long hair to his shoulders and puppy dog look.
You looked over and he looked back down, you blushed and then your name got called, you got up and walked towards the counter seeing your coffee and cake.
You licked your lips and went grab them, as you did a large body bumped into you causing you to fall over your own feet and fall over.
As you hit the floor you groaned and heard a voice "Oh my god I'm so sorry"
You were about to shout but then saw it was the man, you stared for a second and then smiled "It's okay, I didn't look where I was coming"
He held out his big hand and you took it, as your fingers touched his lilac burst up into your hand. You gasped and pulled your hand back instantly. Then you blinked and touched his hand again. It happened again but this time spread further up your arm.
He pulled you up and ran his fingers over your lilac hand, making the colour spread further.
"I'm Sam" he said.
"(Y/n)" you said.
