I VOLUNTEER AS TRIBUTE

This is a story of bravery and courage, a story that brought peace to our nations. This is the story of my history project.

I sat at my desk, staring down at my intertwined fingers. I had successfully completed my history poster on federation, but my confidence was slowly slipping away. I looked over at my friends' posters. They all seemed so happy with their work.

I looked up just as my history teacher walked into the room, followed by a bunch if complements from adoring students. She droned on about some random stuff about grades and stuff before she finally asked who wanted to go first. I thought, why not get my speech over and done with?

I mustered up as much courage as I could and I stood up and said:

"I VOLUNTEER AS TRIBUTE!"

Followed by the the three finger salute. Just to add to that, at the perfect time, my best friend did the Mockingjay song. It was beautiful.
