"What's wrong with her?" I asked and Natasha looked at her arms. "I don't know, who do we even turn to for this?" She asked

Natasha and Steve were trying to get an old jet to work, they didn't run into anyone else but they were definitely here waiting for us. I'm scared and I can't loose her again.

I just can't.

Once the quinjet had started up and we were flying away from the base, it lit up into flames and a huge explosion went off.

They had blown it up.

I looked down at Kyla and she stopped coughing and was just looking at me with huge sad eyes.

I laid her down on a table and held her hand. "Keep your eyes open for me, please" I begged as I watched her struggle to keep them open. I could feel her pulse and it was like her heart was beating out of her chest, she was super hot and sweaty but she wasn't panicking on the outside she looked calm.

Which was how I knew something was definitely wrong.

We rushed to a special hospital where Bruce Banner was and he took her in right away, it's been two hours and there's no new news. We didn't know who we're up against, or what. We don't know where we can even go anymore and it's all because of me.

Kyla is hurt and Steve's friends are all in danger because of me. I was tapping my foot obnoxiously on the floor waiting, for anything. I was bracing myself for the worst because those men said she'd be gone for good.

She could be dying right now and I'd never know. I can't get the picture of her arms out of my head, they were so bright and she was crying and I don't want that to be my last image of her in my head of she's really gone

But she can't be gone, she's a fighter, she never gives up. Nothing bad can happen to her, it won't happen to her.

I was snapped or if my thoughts when I heard footsteps approaching me. I looked up and Banner was standing there, I couldn't read his expressions.

"Is she okay?" I asked with a shaky voice. "She's alive, by she's not okay, they were injecting her with the super soldier syrum, and she wasn't reacting to it correctly because they gave her the wrong dosage. Her insides were rejecting it and her body was shutting down. So a few doctors and I put her in a medically induced coma. But she lost so much blood we don't know what will happen if she wakes up."

"How long until she will wake up?" I asked. "Until all of the syrum is out of her system and her organs start working again, we have her set up to a breathing tube and she is very fragile and weak right now"

My heart was breaking every word that came out of his mouth. "Can I see her?" I asked. "I'm sorry Mr. Barnes, but we were ordered to ship her away to a secret base for her own protection."

"On who's orders?!" I yelled

"Mine."

I turned around and saw the man I was once ordered to kill. Nicholas J Fury. "Why would you send her away?" I asked and was holding back tears. My worst fears just became real all over again

"For her own safety, when she is fully recovered you may visit her but for now you and Steve need to focus on the problem. We can't have you all running around blowing up cities, the press doesn't like any of you right now as well with the government so you boys need to clean up your act.

The government doesn't believe in vigilantes, they want accounts of all super heroes dead or alive, Stark supports the idea and as you've figured it out, Steve doesn't, so work out all your problems in group therapy or whatever the hell you want and call me when the problem is fixed." He said and I looked at Steve who has a baseball cap on.

"Don't draw any attention to yourselves and don't call me" he said and stared walking out.

This is horrible, what if she wakes up and I'm not there, or what if there's an emergency or she needs help, "buck" I turned my head to Steve

"She will be okay, but we need to go," we walked into a black car with Sam in the back. "Where's Natasha?"

"There's something we need to tell you," Sam said and gave me a tablet.

"What's this?" There were tons of random numbers, I think phone numbers and Pictures. "This is Natasha's cell phone record, all the green is Stark's phone number." Steve explained

"She was the one ratting us out to Stark the whole time, I told her to leave for good" Steve said and I swear his voice cracked. But they were very close as I could see but how could she betray Steve like that? After all they've been through .

"What will happen now?" I asked and no one responded.
