Working at my dead in job at the mall is as exciting as it sounds. Day in and day out people come and go. All I can do is dream. Dream about how one day it will be better. How I will get out of this hell hole and do something important with my life. All the while I think of her. No matter what I do she is always there. Reflections off windows. The shadow that follows me. I try talking to my therapist but he thinks I'm crazy. They all do after what happened. After the accident. My wife is supportive but hardly talks to me. With all the alcohol and drugs I never see her anymore. All I can think of is the girl, and how I miss her.
