No one's P.O.V
Cole sighs nervously. He doesn't know how to word what he is going to say next.
Jay sits beside him, waiting patiently for Cole to speak.
"Jay, I~" Cole cuts off and takes a shaky, nervous breath.
"Jay, I've been wanting to tell you this for a long time... The~"
Cole is cut off again by laughter. Outside the door, Lloyd and the others eavesdrop on their conversation, waiting for the moment at which Cole was going to say how much he loved Jay.
Cole growls and opens the door, glaring at his fellow teammates before they run off.
"Sorry to cut this conversation short, Cole," Jay says sadly. "But I gotta get to my room... You can text me though."
Cole smiles as Jay leaves the room. Damn... Cole thinks to himself. I lost the chance to say it!
He watches as Jay bounds down the hallway and turns to another door close by. He walks into his room as Cole slips back into his own room, shutting the door behind him.
Cole gets dressed for bed and lies down, letting his mind and his body sink into the mattress. Don't worry, Cole. His mind told him. You'll get another chance...
