Unexpected events

The morning arrived and I felt exhausted, I hated not being able to sleep sometimes. This was one of the things I missed about being human.

Suddenly I heard the sound of a car turning off the road and onto the Cullen's long driveway I sat up confused, I didn't realise they were expecting people over.
By the looks on everyone's faces, they didn't either.
Suddenly Alice's eyes glasses over, I knew she was having a vision.
"Ugh she is so desperate, maybe when she sees Bella she will back off" Alice groaned.
" Who is it"? I asked confused, Edward answered me in a lifeless tone "Tanya" .
I remembered him talking about her one hundred years ago, she was the girl with a major crush on Edward.
"she's the one who has a huge crush on you right" I asked Edward, he looked impressed,
"how do you remember that" ?
"A vampire never forgets" I said smugly.
"Erm I'm pretty sure its meant to be an elephant never forgets but oh well" Esme giggled in her musical voice,
"let's get this over with then" Carlisle said dully, rolling his eyes.
He and Esme left the room, a moment later I heard a nock on the door and some people chatting.
They walked into the living room where we all sat and were greeted by a chorus of dull "Hello's" and "hi's" from all the irritated Cullen 'children', Tanya , Carlisle and Esme carried on with there convocation, I was aware that Tanya was staring at me and Edward the whole time sending me murderous looks.
I couldn't be bothered to listen to what they were saying, so instead I rested my head on Edwards chest. He wrapped his arm around me to show Tanya that he was in love with me. I smirked a little behind my hair as I saw her stiffen.
I suddenly was brought to attention by something that had everyone staring at Carlisle is disbelief Esme included, " you can stay the night if you wish" he had said to Tanya, she had thanked him for his kindness and went and sat down on the other side of Edward, I felt him go rigid, his arms tightened around me. I was resting against him on the sofa, hugging my to my chest, curled in a ball almost.
I was warm and comfortable leaning on him even though to everyone else, he would seen ice cold.
Then Tanya did something that none of us expected her to have the nerve to do, she lent across, and kissed Edward on the lips right in front of me and everyone else.

This made Edward furious, he quickly unwrapped his arms from around me and with all his force, shoved Tanya off him. She smashed into the solid brick wall leaving a huge dent in it, she sprung up and screamed at Edward "What do you see in that" she said referring to me " that I don't have"!
"It's not what she does have", Edward yelled, furious now, "its what she doesn't have, for starters, your desperate, horrid attitude"
I had to bite my lip hard to stop myself from laughing, I looked around the room and everyone had a similar expression.
Only now I noticed though Edward was no longer sat next to me on the sofa, I myself wasn't even on the sofa now, we had all miraculously made it to the main Hall, where his grande piano sat.
Tanya looked horror struck, she quickly flew up the stairs and a second later I heard a door slam shut.
I suddenly couldn't hold back my laughter anymore I laughed until it hurt, everyone else was chuckling as well, "well that was entertaining" Jasper chuckled.
Edward was the only one not laughing, I was worried so I walked over to him and cupped his face in my hand. I looked in his eyes and saw they were filled with venom, he would have cried if he could but he couldn't, so instead he stood there. Totally expressionless.
"Edward what's wrong"? I murmured in his ear. "Aren't you mad, don't you want to never see me again"? He asked sadness and grief filling his voice.
I was so shocked even jasper let out a little gasp,
I pulled my hand away from Edwards face, he locked away sadly.
" Edward Cullen" I demanded "why on earth do you thinks I would be mad at you"??
" because she kissed me" me sobbed,
"Well you didn't kiss her, did you"? I demanded.
He looked up at me shocked "no! I would never kiss anyone that wasn't you "
" then it's fine" I declared before he lifted me up and passionately kissed me.

For the rest of the day we went hunting, I caught four elk and two mountain lions, Edward and Emmet each caught two mountain lions and started having a fight over who's was bigger. Carlisle, jasper and Rosalie each got six elk as they didn't want to hunt the lions. It was great fun and we all arrived back to the Cullen's around eight at night.

Esme had stayed at home to try and talk to Tanya, we all wished her luck knowing she would need it. We were greeted by Tanya who ran up to Edward and hugged him, everyone automatically stiffened, but she quickly let go and to our shock, embraced me as well.
I would have had a heart attack if my heart was still beating, but it wasn't so I didn't.
She released me and took a step back, everyone looked impressed, Esme included, what ever she did it worked well.
"I'm soooo sorry about earlier" Tanya began "I don't know what happened please forgive me, I promise I won't touch Edward again, please forgive me". She quickly rushed it all out. We all though about it for a minute, and nodded Edward, only very slightly but still there.
" we all forgive you Tanya, you meant no harm" Carlisle said before any of his children could say anything rude to her. Which by the look on there faces they would have.
"Thank you all so much your giving me more than I deserve" she squealed.
"Yes we are, Emmet muttered under his breath so quietly I could barely hear him.
