Understanding me takes an open mind.

We were all born into this world with a blank slate - free to become our own person, find purpose, and create a legacy. Me, on the other hand, well, I was born into the world with a predetermined path, a destiny to fulfill rather than create: I am unique.

What if I told you that my dreams were not actually dreams at all, but visions of the future? Would you think I was crazy?

Well, you wouldn't be wrong. I thought I was crazy for years. As I child I was constantly told "it was only a dream," but the problem was that it was never "just a dream." To prove my sanity, I began keeping a dream journal; every night I wrote down what I saw, and at some point in the near future, it would become a reality. From small things like receiving a package in the mail, to big things like an earthquake, my dreams were never simply dreams.

There are points in my life where I would consider this "talent" to be a curse - sometimes my warnings aren't headed and my efforts aren't enough. Yet there are times where I consider it a "gift" - I've saved people, changed fate for the better. Somehow, in the end, it is all worth the struggle.
