I hang up the phone confused. Why would the number
be no longer in use? "What the ?" I say out loud. I just called
my Mom with that number yesterday and she would've
told me if she was getting a new number."Mike," I scream
running to him. "What?" he says worriedly as he takes me in
his arms. "I tried calling my Mom," I say. "And...and it said the
number is no longer in use," I continue. "That's weird. Something
isn't right here," says Mike. "Did you try to call your Dad?" asks
Mike. "No, not yet I was going to but I couldn't stop jumping
to conclusions with everything that already happened today," I
