For some of these chapters, I personally picked out songs that I think would go well with the story. For a better experience, I suggest playing the songs :)

Not a single soul was awake, unaware of the hidden dangers soon to come...

-

Blade awoke to an anxious morning, unsure as to why he was feeling irritated. He called out his guards, reminding them to stay extra alert. Lily was living in the palace now.

Something was up, causing his wolf to feel rambled and anxious. Whatever threat that was about to lurk his way, he was prepared to fight it.

Blade was getting dressed in his bathroom, ruffling up the sleeves of the white, dress shirt. He paused, suddenly throwing a glance in the mirror as he slowly inhale the newcomer's scent.

Lily stood there against his bedroom door, as her hands restlessly fidget around with one another.

"Uhh, can I speak with you?" She hesitantly asked.

"Only if you come closer."

Lily sighed, knowing that he was no man to try and negotiate with. Dragging her feet, she took some small steps into his bedroom.

With nothing more than an effortless flick of his wrist, the door flew shut from behind her.

"H-how.."

"What did you want to talk about?" Blade stalked across the room towards Lily, fully aware that the buttons on his shirt were still undone.

Lily managed to maintain a blank face after she took a glance at his naked chest. "When are you going to let me go?"

He froze in his tracks, the cold, hardened stare returned to his features.
"Never."

Lily balled her fists up in anger. What was the point of her being kept here next to him when he didn't even want her. If it was to slowly tear her apart, then hell it was working. "You have no right to keep me here!"

"I'm afraid you're deaf." In a flash, he was in front of her, with his fingers gripping her chin. "Do I need to remind you of our conversation from last night? You're here only as my mistress and nothing more. People like you are unworthy of rights."

He tried to ignore the pain creeping up his chest as he stared into her tear-glazed eyes.

Lily pushed off of Blade's grip. Not only was her wolf howling in pain, but so was her heart. "I hate you. I would do anything to get rid of this bond with a monster like you." She hurried to the door, ignoring the deep growl rumbling from Blade. She ran, ran to wherever her feet were taking her. Out of the palace, out of the guard's sight and away from the cruel monster.

Blade was left standing in the middle of his room, trying to recollect himself before he killed all living things from a thirty mile radius from where he was.
Most of his anger was not directed all to Lily, but instead to himself. His room now looked like a tornado had done damage to it, seconds after Lily had ran out. He was the one who rejected her, so why couldn't he let her go?

-

Lily was walking around the woods for over an hour now trying to find the portal.

Realizing that she was so lost, Lily sat on a mossy log. Tears still stained her cheeks and she was incredibly drained-physically, and emotionally.

Deep in her thoughts, Lily didn't realize how the temperature seemed to drop suddenly. An unfamiliar voice woke her up from her trance.

"Lost, little wolf?"

A feeling of terror and chills crawled up her spine. She was suddenly scared, unaware of the possible dangers from being in this unfamiliar setting.

"Who's there?" She said, trying to remain calm.

Lily squinted, trying to see through the thick branches and leaves.

A man with inhuman beauty stepped out of the shadows. He wore black from neck to toe. His skin was silky white, and his hair was a platinum-blonde. His sharp blue eyes tinted with amusement and authority. Something about him radiated power and darkness.

Lily would think he was an Alpha, except his scent notified her that he wasn't a werewolf. Then what is he?

"The name's Deimos." He fully stood in front of Lily now. "And what shall I call you?"

"Lily." She was truly terrified and unsure if she was about to die in the hands of this man. Her wolf responded aggressively, telling her to escape as fast as she could out of here, but deep down Lily knew that she could not out run this man.

"Lily..." Deimos seemed to tongue her name around his mouth, savoring it as if it was old wine--and clearly liking the sound of it from the way his eyes darkened with satisfaction.

"Lily, what are you doing out here all alone?" He asked her.

Lily was tempted to say that she was here because she belonged to someone, and that someone brought her here to live with him. Different, cold words spoke out of her lips instead. "I'm trying to find my way back home."

Deimos turned his head at an angle as if he knew her facade and could see right through her lies.

He bent down to her level and eyed her lips before his eyes traveled back up to hers. "I can help you." His hands reached out towards her face as she froze, afraid and unsure of how to act. He gently lined her jaw with his fingers. "How pitiful...a beauty like you captured with that hell of a mess."

Lily frowned, unsure of the meaning behind his words. "What do you mean?"

"What is your relationship with Blade?" Deimos spoke that name as if it was poison among his tongue.

The question caught her off guard. "How do you know him?"

He chuckled a humorless laugh. "Little wolf, is that how you answer a question--with a question?"

Something told her to not tell Deimos the full story. He could not be trusted. "He captured me here against my own will, and now I'm trying to escape." Lily recalled her emotions of hate and anger as it appeared on her face, praying that Deimos would accept the explanation.

If he could see through her lies than he didn't seem to show it. "Blade, always being aggressive as usual." He laughed, seeming satisfied with her response.

"So, how do you know him?"

"Just acquaintances. We know of each other for a very long time." There seemed to be dark humor in the words he spoke.

"Come to my place. I can erase the pain and everything you experienced here, I can help you."

"How?" Despite the fact that Lily was terrified, she couldn't help but be intrigued and be very tempted. It sounded so easy for her to forget about the pain Blade inflicted among her and live life back as her normal self.

"I can do many things where as Blade, cannot. A simple task like that is harmless." He scanned the trees behind her and smirked. "See you again, Lily." With those last words, he took her hand and raised it up to his surprisingly warm lips. He later vanished into thin air, leaving behind the only thing that would prove he had been here--a white rose.
