the true enemy was graduation.
"iwa-chan, don't you want to go to the same university as me?"
"i don't want to, i'm tired of your shit."
tooru looks pained.
"i'm kidding. you're the partner i'm proud to have, an amazing setter. even if the team changes, that will not change. but when we fight, i will defeat you."
the setter chuckles. "bring it on!"
he smiles, but he knows.
