Maya sat on the couch as Topanga and Riley sat down in the living room, Riley next to Maya and Tooanga in the chair.
"What is it?" Asked Riley.
"I called the police this morning."
"What?" Asked Riley.
"Why did you call the police?"
"Maya, he was arrested and you mom is okay." Maya nodded, relived.
"What is going on?"
"Would you like to tell them?" Asked Cory. Maya pulled off her beanie and looked up.
"He hurt us."
"But..." Said Cory.
"But everything is going to be okay."
"And..."
"I'm going to get better."
"By..." Maya just looked at him.
"You are going to start eating enough and you are going to talk to us."
"Okay." She said to the man that was more like a father than the man who was supposed to be her actual step-dad.
"I promise."
