It was a normal practice day for Inazuma Japan. They were all having fun and very serious about practicing because their next opponent is America's representatives, The Unicorn. They were inside the field until Hiroto noticed something.

"Guys, I think there's something wrong." Hiroto said making the whole team confused and looked at the direction where Hiroto is looking at.

The sight was all misty and black. They can't see their quarters clearly. They can hear growls and slow steps outside the field. Because of that, Kabeyama shivered and hide behind Taunami. Tsunami, on the other hand, is pretty scared inside but tries his best to hide it.

"What's going on?" Kazemaru said taking small steps backwards. All of them are freaked out.

"We'll be fine, for now." Kidou said.

"How can we be safe if we don't even know what's going on out there?!?!" Kogure added

"We'll be safe..." Fudou stated.

After minutes of observing and shivering, they finally heard some growls coming closer to the fence.

"Umm...Guys? I-I think we should lock the fence door. You know, for safety." Toramaru said making Endou and Kidou nod.

"I'll do it!" Fubuki defended and Kidou nodded.

"Be careful, Fubuki!" Endou said. Fubuki slowly walked to the stairs and carefully walking up. Yes, he is scared but it's worth trying to keep everyone safe to whatever is out there. He slowly locked it until one thing came bashing the fence. Fubuki is shocked making him fall on his back. That thing is bashing on the fence wanting to go in the field. The team's faces are in horror, Endou shouted at Fubuki to get back in the field, and Fubuki followed.

They all stick together while scared faces can be seen. They watched that thing that is still bashing the fence until another two can be spotted on different sides making them even scared.

"What the?!" Fudou exclaimed. The one that is on the right side started to climb the fence because it's just made up of stainless wires. The other two followed it.

"I-I think they're coming in.." Kabeyama stuttered.

"Isn't it obvious?!" Fudou said.

They are all thinking of what to do. Until the three 'things' landed on the different sides of the field. They were coming close to the team until Fudou, Kidou, and Hiroto had the courage to beat them up. Hiroto took the one that is on the right side, he used a stick that is near him and pierced it in the head. Kidou took the one in the left, he killed it by kicking the ball really intense and punched it in the heart part. Fudou took the one in the front, he kicked it in the head intensely without even exerting much force. After that, the three fell down on the ground at the same time. Hiroto, Fudou, and Kidou smirked at the same time too. They were all amazed by the three and thanked them.

Kogure poked one using the stick that Hiroto used.

"Kogure, stop poking that!" Tsunami cautioned him.

"What? I'm just checking if this is alive or not." Kogure whined.

"What are those?" Tachimukai asked.

"I still don't know but we need to go back at our quarters. Quickly!" Endou said. They all gulped and walked slowly to the fence.

"I really don't want to encounter one of those anymore." Tsunami said.

"I know. That's why we need to hurry!" Endou said and walked quickly but quietly at the misty, dark road since their quarters is just across. Endou slowly opened their quarter's door hoping that there will be none of those things will show up. After he opened it widely, Megane is standing in front of them.

"C-Captain?!" Megane exclaimed.

"Megane, nice to see you! Are you alright? How are the girls?" Endou asked worriedly.

"We're fine. Fortunately, there are none of those things showed up in here." Megane stated making Endou sighed in relief. They all entered and blocked the door with cabinets and chairs. They all went to the dining area.

"So, do anyone have any ideas of what that 'things' are?" Toramaru asked.

"I do." Megane said while pushing his glasses up and smirked.

"Then what is it?" Fudou asked coldly.

"They are called zombies." Megane said.

"Z-Zombies?!" They all exclaimed.

"Yes. They're like the ones that I have read in mangas. They like to eat or bite people and turn somebody like them. So we need to be more cautious." Megane stated. They all look more afraid.

"I think that's not the reason." Haruna declined, which made all of them jawdropped.

"Follow me." Haruna said and they all followed her to the living room where the other managers are there watching the news. They all took there seats and some stood.

"To all the people of the world who are still alive, we're warning you that there's a virus outbreak! Yes, a virus outbreak that immediately spread throughout the world! Scientists said that this virus is called "The Bloodfire", they said that this virus is extremely dangerous! But If you thought that they are zombies or cannibals, well no, they aren't! They're waaay different than them! They're extremely dangerous!! I suggest to find a safe place and always keep your guard up! Oh and one-" The newscaster was cut when the power are all down.

"Dang it! We didn't get to hear what's the last thing that he's gonna say!" Endou shouted.

"...And they seemed pretty important too." Fubuki added.

"I guess we need to find it out ourselves." Kidou said.

"What?! Didn't you hear what he said?! Those 'things' are different than zombies and cannibals!! A-and I-I think they were tough to handle." Megane protested.

"We better call them 'cranks' for now." Fudou butted in.

"That's a good name." Sakuma agreed, and they all agreed.

"So, what are we going to do now?" Haruna asked.

"Well, one thing's for sure. You girls and Megane always need to stay here. While some of us will check what's happening outside, everyday. We will try to check other areas too so that we will know if there's still anyone who is still alive." Kidou stated.

"But first, we need to take a rest." Endou suggested.

"Yeah. But barricade the doors, windows, and other entrances where these cranks may enter." Gouenji said and they all did what he said.

They secured those barricades and really tighten it to secure safety. And when they are all settled, they went to each other's room and locked the doors, just in case. And they all tried to sleep but some of them can't. Others are really terrified because they can still hear those growls outside their windows, while others drifted off to sleep that easily. Just how does these things happened? They didn't catch up what the newscaster said because of power loss, and now, whole of Liocott Island has no power. How are the other representatives are doing?
