The sun had already set.

The king was standing on a long balcony

which was linked to a corridor on the first floor.

The balcony overlooked the garden –

the one from this morning.

"Who knew things will turn out like this,"

he thought sorrowfully.

"Now I need to look for other ways to save my people."

Tiny drops started to fall from the sky.

"If only it rained in my country..."

The pain his people felt from thirst and hunger

he felt as his own.

Although, as a king he had everything,

he could enjoy

nothing.

Leastwise while his country was in distress.
