Five years later
"Oh my gosh we're late for cheer practice! Damn it!" Lancy curses. We are currently on our way back to school going 45 in a 35. She digs through her bag putting on her pounds of makeup.
No, it is not morning, it's actually after noon. Lancy forgot her uniform at home and managed to get me to drive her back home to get it. Now she is late. As head cheerleader that is very bad.
We reached the almost empty school parking lot quickly. She rushes out of the car with me in trail. We used our werewolf speed to get to the girls locker room where she sped away to change, throwing a skirt at me in the process.
"There's still a spot left in the team you want it," She says, skipping off towards the football field where all the girls are, " Ok girls let's start!" She starts doing routine after routine for tonight's football game.
I'm disregarded into the background as I take a seat in the bleachers. My train of thought leads to Tomorrow. It's our eighteenth birthday and we already have everything in place. It's a Halloween party at Delancey's parents house. It's practically a mansion and the perfect place to throw a party.
"Lillie, one of our flyers is out sick. Will you replace her?" Lancy asked. I mean I am a back up, but that usually doesn't ever get me put on the field.
I groaned. "Do I have too?" I asked.
"Yes, go change and hurry up. I have a surprise for you."
I nod, going to the locker room and changing into the uniform. I hate the uniform. The skirt is too short and the top is too tight, and shows too much.
I got out to the field and I was automatically grabbed and started getting thrown in the air for some cheers. I just did what was expected and didn't complain. I know there's no getting out of this no matter how much I complain.
After two hours of being a flier and top of the pyramid plus a lot of other things the football player filed onto the football field for practice. The cheerleaders and football players don't practice at the same time, we don't want to get hit with the football.
"Ok girls, two hours till showtime go home and rest!" Lancy demanded. "And as for you I have one huge surprise for you," She pointed behind me at the top of the bleachers where there were two people.
"Who i-" I was cut off and noticed that one of the two people is my brother! "Jace!" He met me at the bottom of the bleachers and pulled me into a bone crushing hug! "Your back," I said in a sigh of relief.
"Yup and for good. My bro Anthony here is soon going to be our new alpha." He said, patting Anthony on the back. The air was knocked out of my lungs when I saw Anthony. My wolf stirred; she never stirred.
Oh my gosh Anthony got even hotter! His jet black hair lightened at the tips, probably from over exposure to the sun, and his baby blue eyes are now dark blue gray- they show how much he has actually aged these last few years away- and of course his face is even more beautiful. Beautiful isn't even the word to describe how hot he is.
