“Ah, Autumn! There you are! Let's sit in the living room.” My mum said while smiling at me. I could tell that there was something wrong... The smile didn’t reach her eyes and it wasn’t as cheerful as it usually was. We walked into the living room.

“Please, sit down, Autumn.” My mum spoke again. I sat with my mum and dad stood in front of me.

‘Something’s wrong.’ I thought to myself. ‘The last time we were like this was when they told me that my grandpa died. I remember it too well.’

“What’s wrong?” I asked worried.

“Um... well... um....... y-y-you see...” My mum stuttered.

“What your mother is trying to say is that you’re going to be attending Uncle Jim’s boarding school.” My dad said. When he finished my mouth dropped and I swear it was almost touching the floor.

“Why I love my school?” I questioned still in shock.

“Well, because your dad talked to your Uncle, and he got a really good deal. Also, it could be a great opportunity.” My mother said.

“And you haven’t exactly done well in Camden, so we thought boarding school might help.” My dad finished bluntly.

“Wait... hold on a sec... since when did Uncle Jim have a boarding school?” I asked. Last time I heard of him, he was in America, trying to teach art. And now, here he is with his own boarding school.
