~Ruby's point of view
Sapphire and I spent the whole day just talking. I couldn't help but stare at her. I can't see her eyes but she's already so beautiful. I wonder what they look like.
I moved my hand to brush her bangs out of her face but she quickly pushed me away.
"Sorry. I've never let anyone see my eyes before." Sapphire sounded kind of sad. I instantly regretted it.
"No. Sapphire I'm sorry. I shouldn't have done that."
"No, no. I should show you. I can't keep a secret from you."
She moved back her bangs to reveal one beautiful blue eye and one completely white one.
"Beautiful." I whispered. That was all I could say at the time. I couldn't speak any louder for I was afraid the air would break it was so fragile. She took the breath out of my lungs.
"I should probably go now. Bye ruby."
"Bye sapphy. See you after basketball practice."
Today's practice is going to be torture. I can barely think.
