I caught up with him and grabbed his hand.
"Wait, what's your name?" I said breathlessly.
He looked down at our joined hands and I pulled mine away nervously.
"Joon Kyung. You can call me Joon."
Then he smiled. One of those panty dropper smiles.
I...
I'm glad to be back home finally. I've been studying abroad for a year. Even though I had a great time in America I still missed home. I missed speaking my native language, our Korean cuisine, and my family.
I haven't seen or heard much from my dongsaeng since he debuted but I know that his career is going great so far. It's not that we are not close its just that he chose music over school while I chose the latter. I just wanted to make my mother happy.
Education is really big in Korea. Sometimes it affects your social ranking if you are failing stupendously depending on who you are. Being that I'm a studious student, I make my mother look good. Her friends always gush at how her kids are successful and handsome.
As soon as I left the airport I hailed a cab. Everyone is busy so no one could pick me up. I probably could've called a friend or something but I lost touch with them since I've been abroad.
I have an apartment with my dongsaeng. The rent is about $3,083 a month. It may seem like a lot but being that it has three bed rooms and two bathrooms is pretty cheap. Plus I don't pay the rent anyway. My brother thinks its his responsibility to pay for it since he rarely visits me.
Being that I'm his hyung it should bother me, but it doesn't. If he wants to cover everything, he can. I don't mind.
"Yamma ni kkumen mwoni. Yamma ni kkumen mwoni-"
"No More Dream" by BTS blasts form my phone. Must means someone is calling me.
"Yobseyo?" I asked while answering my phone.

"Ah-dul, you made it home safely!" My mom asks even though she's practically yelling.
"Ne, Omma."
"Stop by. I'll fix you your favorite meals. Kimichi, Samgyeopsal, Soondae-"
"Soondae! Anio, Omma. That's gross."

She chuckles at me.
"Ha-ha, I forgot you didn't like that, but anyway please come by."
