Prologue:
Mahira's Pov:
I was sitting nervously on my bed. My heart was beating so fast. Pata nahi main yeh kapre kab change kar sakti hoon, i mean it's so heavy yaar. Suddenly the door to my room open, i mean door to his room, and Shehryaar came in with his "Sherwani" on, i must say he was looking handsome "Shut up, Mahira what are you even thinking?" i mentally smacked myself. He came in and to my surprise he was also looking a little bit nervous. He took his "Sherwani" off and sat down beside me. "Ghoor toh aise raha hai, jaise apni nahi paroosi (neighbor) ki biwi hoon, i was mentally thinking. I looked into his eyes and he was already staring at me, he was looking at my eyes, then nose, his eyes stopped at my... oh no...! Before i knew it his lips was just 1-2 cm away from mine, i could feel his mint breath on my lips. I closed my eyes in fear, but he did'nt kissed me in fact he moved back and looked kind of shocked "No, i can't do this, i'm sorry... but i can't" he whispered and went out from the room. I felt my tears roll down, "Why Shehryaar why?, isn't it every girl's dream to become married with a guy who loves her more than anything, then why are you doing this to me Shehryaar, why???, i know we both are not happy for the wedding, but yeh toh allah ki marzi thi na? toh iss mein mera kya kasoor hai???, iski sazaa (punishment) tum mujhe kyun de rahe ho?" i was crying by now.... 'Kyun? aisa mere saath hi kyun hota hai?, aur iss mein zayada kasoor toh tumhara hai Shehryaar!...
I know short, but it was a prologue.
