Newts P.O.V
I was in the garden when I heard what sounded like cheering? But why. I went to look and see y/n returning with Minho! But y/n not a runner? Why is she with Minho. Y/n is my girlfriend not his! I walk over to y/n
"Hey love, can we talk?" I said interrupting her and Minho's conversation.
"Newt!" She said and gave me a big hug. Then she nodded in reply to my previous comment.
We walk away from the other gladers. Once we reached my hammock, I let out all my anger.
"Why did you go running today!"
She gave me a startled look
"Minho needed help Thomas wasn't feeling well so I said I'll go with him." She said
"Well I don't care he could of gone with Gally or Alby." I said frustrated
Y/N P.O.V
He was going off at me for no reason.
"Why are you so upset it was just a one time thing!" I said a bit angry
He stood there looking me straight in the eyes as his slowly started to tear up.
"Because I love you y/n your the only thing I've ever loved! And if you get hurt out there in the maze I knew it would of been my fault cause I could of stopped you!" He said while sitting down covering his crying face.
I sat down next to him.
He looked at me with his teary red puffy eyes.
"Please never go again." He said crying
I pulled him into a hug and this time I wasn't letting go. I whispered in his ear
"I'm never gonna leave you."
