Healing over time

It's been 1 week after Slade kidnapped Raven and she had been able to get back on her feet. Herself and Beast Boy avoided each other after what happened that night...

Everyone was sitting in the living room except for Raven

"Friend Beast Boy, have you seen Friend Raven? She hasn't come out for breakfast yet and I was wondering if you have known where she was?" Starfire told Beast Boy

"I have no idea star... I guess I'll go find her" Beast boy said as he stood up from the couch and walked to Raven's room

He then quietly knocked on the door "Raven? You in there?"

He got no answer so he knocked again.

"Raven open up!" He knocked for the 3rd time. "That's it I'm coming in!"

Beast Boy then opened the door and sat in shock.

Raven was on the ground with a bloody razor and fresh blood dripping from her arms and wrists. She had many cuts on her

"Raven! What on earth are you doing!" He said as he ran to her side and grabbed the razor and took a deep look at the cuts

"H-Have you been hurting yourself?" He said with a worried tone and held Raven close

The whole time Raven sat quietly and tried to hide herself from Beast Boy

"Raven please tell me why?"

After 5 minutes, Raven finally spoke

"I've been doing this to try and forget about how I'm loved by nobody" Raven said weakly and tried to hide her arms

"Raven please don't th-" he was cut off

"But it's true! Nobody cares or loves me! I'm nothing to this world and doing things like this helps me forget horrible things! Like what Slade did to me..." She mumbled the last sentence but was still heard by Beast Boy

His heart was torn in half to see Raven like this. She was broken

"You think that your alone Raven but your not..." He said as he hugged her tightly and whispered in her ear "I'm always here. You may think that I'm annoying and bothersome but I will always be here no matter how you think of me"

Those words made Raven change on the inside "someone cares... I can't believe it but someone does" Raven thought to herself

She then hugged him back and began to think about all of the times that she thought that she was alone

"But please, how long have you been doing this?" Beast Boy said said as he took the razor and tried to keep it out of reach from her

"E-Ever since Malchior left" She said quietly

"Forget about him Raven because there is nothing that upsets me more than seeing you hurt yourself"

"Can you not tell the other Titans about this?" She said with worry

"Only if you stop with this stuff. Hurting yourself NEEDS to stop but I need to make sure that you have no more razors or knives" he said as he held her hand

"Fine... I need to give you the rest of them" she got up and walked to a box that held different types of small razors and blades

He then took every single one of them and looked at Raven. "I promise that I won't let anyone hurt you but first I need to get rid of these" he said as he kissed Raven on the forehead and walked to his room to hide all of the different weapons
