Some Facts

Hello everyone! I'm Admin and I'd like to apologize for no publishing lately. So to make up for it I'll give you some of my background planning from throughout the book.

1. In the 1999 version of HxH, there was an episode or two where it was a second half of the third test, where the crew is stuck on an island where a phenomenon of weather goes on every few years. I'm thinking about adding that in. Just in case people are only familiar with that version of HxH

2. Damien is supposed to have a little sister who is actually on the adventure with her and the others. But instead of doing so, I decided to have her die as well in the assassination to bring more grief upon Damien and Dustin

3. The twins parents were under command of Netereo as part of the additional group of top hunters I called 'The Zodiac'. That's why they are Aquarius and Pisces, also being combined as Gemini

4. I was originally going to take Damien out of the exam after getting her license and see the reaction of Dustin when she told him.

5. I personally have no idea where the name Dustin came from. I guess I just wanted somewhat similar names for the two

6. Kurapika was originally supposed to carry Damien back into the room where they are for 50 hours. But to keep the romance somewhat lowkey, I let them have a conversation after she went to her emo corner

7. Damien has multiple disorders such as ADHD and dyslexia. But she still reads to try and make it go away. She also has voices in her head as a consequence for taking her parent's powers after their deaths without actually knowing

8. Dustin is actually the top of his English Language Arts class in the orphanage while Damien is in the middle somewhere.

9. Dustin has actually beaten his father before in a fight a month before his death.

10. Killua and Damien were supposed to hate each other when they reunited, but since their families worked together and it didn't quite fit Damien's personality, I decided they would just be close.

11. Gon actually met Damien while wandering through the woods and saw her training by herself. Only to get knocked out and had to help her back to the village.

12. Damien in another version was supposed to be older and live nearby the village Kurapika lived in. When they were out shopping, they would come back to find both the Kurta and Wilkor family were killed

13. Damien is actually supposed to be vegetarian, but I changed my mind after much consideration

14. Tonpa was supposed to sabotage Damien's first test by knocking her out and nearly not making it to the next part

15. Skyma (Damien/Dustin's baby sister) is actually my struggle in deciding how the end of the story goes. Why? I don't know if I want to bring her back with some big thing at the end of the exam.

16. Dustin was supposed to be a girl named Daina instead, which would've been inspired by one of my friends in school and have a snobby yet smart personality

17. The sexualities of Damien and Dustin are pansexual and bisexual. Damien prefers to judge people by their personality and have a good time in the process to go out with someone. While Dustin just wants to find a person who can be of some use.

18. In the orphanage, the twins were called the sun and moon, indicating that Dustin was the sun and Damien was the moon. That's because in the orphanage Damien was quiet and gentle while Dustin was bright and tough.

19. Damien has a crush on Kurapika, but if they go back to Whale Island together, there may be an issue *wink wink*.

20. Damien has won many talent shows on the island and has won an award at a showcase at YorkNew City.
