We were five minutes into the movie Think Like A Man.
"So i've known you for about four months now and I still don't know about your life in the states?" He turned to me.
"I lived in New Zealand with my aunty for most of my life, I only came back to the states after Mere left"
"You both love to sing... anything else you both have in common?"
"I get my confidence from her actually"
"You got her attitude as well"
"I'll take that as a compliment.... what about you?"
"Not much, I have a sister... had a sister and that's about it. Besides rugby, i'm focused on school to help support my parents"

"She passed a few years ago, doesn't really matter-"
"It does she's your sister. You miss her don't you?"

"I'm sure she misses you too" I rubbed his hands.
He leaned in closer.
I closed my eyes and placed a finger on his lip.
"Ain't this movie night?"
"Sorry" he moved back, biting his lip.

"Yes?" I stared at her

"Listen, you've been off the past few days"

"Yes you have. But anyways, your coming on Friday right?"
"What's Friday?"
"Rua's birthday"

"Jordan will be there"
"Well... I'll have to see wi-"
"Please Hiva, we haven't properly hung out in like a month"
"I'll try Vi"
"Thank You" she hugged me.

"Hiva, get up" Mere said kicking me
"Why?"
"Aunty n Uncle wanna take us out for dinner"
"I'm ready"

"If I wanted to dress like you, I would've stolen your clothes" I laughed which earned me a pillow to the face.
"Little shit. Don't think I don't know about you and Jordan too"
