.Jillian.

"There's something different about you Jilly." Lydia narrows her eyes at me over the skype cam. "I just cannot put my finger on it."

"Hm. Well, let's see. I grew an inch, braces are off, cut my hair, Jackson gave me the bite, no more glasses, --"

"Wait, what?" She almost chokes on her words.

"I don't wear glasses anymore. Laser eye surgery." I began teasing her.

She shakes her head, "No before that."

"I cut my hair. Yeah, it was tim--"

"No." She chuckles, "You know what I mean."

I giggle, "Yeah. I'm a werewolf. Surpriiisee." I smile, glowing my eyes.

"And that's something you wanted ?" She tucks a loose strand of hair behind her ear.

"Yeah." I nod, before there was a slight moment of silence.

"Uh, h--how is Jackson? " She asks hesitantly.

"He's good-yeah, I don't know, after we left he just--he's a lot more calmer."

"Has he asked about me ?" She asks.

"Let's find out. Shall we ? Uh, Jackson !" I yell out.

"What-what the hell are you doing ?!" She whisper/yells.

"Yeah ?!"

"Come hither, brother !"

"Noo, I'm going to kill you." She grits her teeth.

"I have an old friend here who wants to chat with you !"

"Oh my god, Danny ??" He storms into my room.

"No no, not Danny." I smirk, moving over to show Lydia. "Surprise !"

"Hi." Lydia smiles and waves.

"Lydia ?" Jackson walks in more closer and sits next to me on my bed. "You look--you look beautiful."

"Thanks." She smiles shyly.

"Yeah, yeah.. So how've you been ?"

"Honestly not so great but I'm taking it one day at a time."

"What's going on, Lyds ?" I frown, because, as of right now I'm left out on the details of how she's doing.

"Allison and my--a close friend of mine's died six months ago."

"What ?" Tears form in my eye socket as I cover my mouth with my hand.

"You've gotta be kidding me--how ? What happened?" Jackson asks.

"Just know that she died trying to save her friends." Lydia explains.

"Poor Scott." I sniff, wiping my eyes. "How's he handling it ?"

"He's okay. We're all okay-you know just transitioning through this tough time. And of course, trying to get through senior year."

"I guess it's a semi good time to tell you that I'm moving back ?"

"You are ?" Lydia's face lights up then she frowns, "What about you, Jackson ?"

"I'm staying here. Yeah--Mom and dad are divorcing. They agreed on co-parenting."

"Dad gets me." I explain.

"And I stay with mom." Jackson adds.

"I'm sorry your parents are divorcing. I know what it's like." Lydia says, "When are you coming, Jilly ?"

"I'm leaving first thing in the morning. So I should be there before school starts back up." I explain.

"Sounds good." She says, "I should get ready for bed. Goodnight or Good afternoon, in your case."

"Take care, Lydia." Jackson smiles.

"See you soon, hun !" I wave.
