This flame engulfs me
Takes my life away
It spreads and pours out
Bleeding until there is no blood
I will not scream out
I will hold my tears
Listen to my soft spoken words
Words that you dare to hear
Carved into my flesh
Red replacing the tan of my skin
Vile words consume my mind
Words that cut deeper than my cold blade
'Ugly"
"Disgusting"
"Freak"
It all replays in my mind
Slowly I drag
This miserable piece of metal
"Confident"
Is what it reads
In hope
This word
Forever engraved
Now a part of me
I sit
In my pool of despair
Staring blankly
At my twisted masterpiece
