Chapter three

The next couple of days David felt a little awkward around Elizabeth, though she didn't pay

attention with her finding out the meaning of love mission and her schoolwork, and whenever he

tried to talk to her he would start blushing and stuttering. Meanwhile, the rumor that David and

Elizabeth kissed spread like wildfire around the school, that didn't make any of the other 'soon to be

lovers' of Elizabeth very happy, they wanted it to be them that Elizabeth kissed not the skater. If

Elizabeth and David were seen in the same hallway together, boys would start wolf whistling and

cheering David on and to 'get some' , while David got embarrassed, blushed, and skated as fast as he

could to his next class. Elizabeth ignored all of this because the only thing she could think of was her

mission to find out about love. She went to couples who she thought gave her an answer, but each

couple gave her a different answer. She bought at least 5 notebooks for notes and resources about

As the last bell rang, Elizabeth stuffed her items into her bag and rushed home. On her walk

home she wrote on her third notebook on her findings. When she got home, she didn't bother to say

anything or eat a snack, she just went straight to her room and started doing more research.

Someone knocked on her door "Elizabeth, why don't you come out and eat." it was her dad, she

didn't want to be bothered right now so she just made an excuse "Not hungry right now dad, I'm

doing work." it wasn't a full lie, she was doing her homework but she was also doing her personal

work. Her father sighed in defeat and walked back to his wife. Maria was pacing on the floor when

her husband walked in, she grabbed his hands and looked at him straight in the eyes "Is she out of

her room, is she eating?" her grip tightened on her husband's hands, he shook his head and looked

down disappointed. Maria looked down too, what was going on with their daughter, she hasn't

spoken or eaten in the last couple of weeks. Michael pulled her close and tilted her head so that she

looked at him "It's going to be ok, she'll be alright."

During track, Elizabeth was sprinting the whole track. Along with her beauty and brains

from her father she got the athletic genes from her mother. She is the strongest, fastest, and the

most flexible person in school. Jason and Elizabeth were at the top of the charts for being the most

athletic people in the school but Elizabeth always surpassed him. Right now Elizabeth and Jason
