This is gonna be sort of inspirational. :
I love the moment when after playing the last note and marching the last step of the show, there's this little pause.
You could hear the band breathing heavily,
The pit calming down,
the Drum Majors feeling accomplished, doing their thing,
and the look on the Band Director's face of pride.
The look on his face saying "Heck yea, that's my band you guys!"
Then, the crowd giving a standing ovation.
Man, I love marching season.
