Finding Our Son

Jia's POV:

It has been a month of travel with me and my husband to find our son. So far it is looking useless, but we can't give up.

"We should stop here and rest my love. It is getting dark." said Chen Li.

"You're right, lets set camp here and continue our journey in the morning." I replied.

We stopped and set up camp and made a fire to keep us warm. All of the sudden I got the sensation to use the bathroom.

"I will be right back my love." I said, rushing off to find a good place to do my business.

I find a good enough spot behind a bush and went. After I was done I looked around, this place kind of looked familiar. I walked around and looked. Then I saw it, the place where I put Tao. We found the place where we put Tao.

I quickly ran back to our camp.

"Chen Li come quick!" I yell out.

He quickly followed. We got there and he looked surprised that we found it.

"This is the place. Oh my, this is the place where we left him." he said.

"Yes it is. This could be a sign. We will find him, we just need to keep going." I said.

"Yes, but as for now we need to rest. In the morning we will continue and head west." he said.

I am so excited. This could be it, we could possibly find him. Finding this place gave me a great feeling we will find him.

*The Next Morning*

We packed everything and started our journey to the west. We traveled fast so we could cover more ground before another day. Before we knew it, we saw a village up ahead.

"Jia, I have a feeling that if we go there we will find him." Chen Li said.

"I have the same feeling." I replied.

"Then lets go." he said.

When we got to the village we walked around. We looked everywhere. This place was beautiful.

All of the sudden my stomach started to growl.

"Looks like someone is hungry" said Chen Li.

"Yeah, lets find someplace to eat." I said.

While walking we saw Mr.Ping's Noodle shop. We went in and ordered a meal.

"Welcome to Mr.Ping's Noodle shop. What would like to have?" asked who I could only guess was Mr.Ping.

"Yes, I would like the best noodle soup you have." I said.

"And I will have the same." said Chen.

"Okay, two secret ingredient soups coming up." Mr.Ping said.

We went to sit down and talk a little while our meal was being prepared.

"Give us all you money!" exclaimed someone.

Me and Chen look back to see three gorillas at the counter with weapons.

"Oh no, Chen what do we do." I said panicking.

"Stay still, they haven't noticed us. If we freak out they will." Chen said.

These guys were apart of the army that chased us away from our home and tried to destroy all tigers.

"I said give us all your money you stupid goose." said the first gorilla.

"How about you run." said another mysterious voice.

Chen and I turn to see who it was to be surprised. It was him, it was Tao, our son. He was challenging theses gorillas, what was he thinking, oh no he was going to die. Chen held me as we watched our son be bold.

"What, a-another tiger? I thought we got rid of them all." said the second gorilla.

"No, you were wrong." said Tao.

"Kill him!" yelled the first gorilla.

They all charged toward our son. I thought that was it. We get to see our son one last time, him not even getting a chance to see us. But then I saw him fighting he was kicking all three of the gorilla's buts.

"You think you can kill me that easily. I trained all my life, taught myself kung fu and defeated one of the strongest kung fu masters, who betrayed me. And I was only six when I beat him in a sparring match and he was nineteen." Tao said.

Wow, our son taught himself how to do kung fu.

The gorillas kept trying to fight him but they lost. The first gorilla was beat up like his comrades and all three of them ran away.

"Oh, thank you so much Master Tao. You are truly a hero."said Mr.Ping.

"I am not a hero. I am just doing my job." said Tao.

"Take this you little kitty!"exclaimed the first gorilla.

Tao turn around shocked before he was struck in the face by a big hammer that had sharp edges. Tao went flying into to kitchen of the noodle shop and the gorilla ran away.

Tao came out of the kitchen and was bleeding where his left eye was. There was a cut there and by the looks of it, it was going to scar.

"Damn that hurt." he said.

"Are you alright Master Tao?" asked Mr.Ping.

"Yes, it is nothing but a scratch." Tao Replied.

"Tao?" I said.

Tao looks over at me and when he sees who I am, he is surprised.

"Mom, dad, is-is that really you guys?"
