"Wow! that was one amazing performance, how do you feel right now?"
"Oh my gosh thank you so much! I'm kind of tired to be honest but I feel great"
"Fingers crossed that you win"
As I walk back stage the makeup crew and the costume crew came up for touch ups while they were on break. This is my dream com true, making all this way through X-factor, becoming one of the final contestants, and being this close to winning. It's surreal.
Beep....beep....beep
"were going back live, in 3..2..1.." the producer says
Beep...beep...beep
"and here we are, the moment of truth, the winner of this years X-factor is....
BEEP.....BEEP.....
I look over and groan. Just dream. I turn of my alarm and just say in bed for a while. As I scroll through tumblr, my mother comes in
"Hey sweetie I have a work thing today and won't return till tomorrow morning"
I roll my eyes. "whatever"
she sighs "make sure you go to school today, I know you didn't go last week, you can't be pulling things like this anymore"
I laugh a bit "like you actually care"
"hey! I do care, I want you to have a good education so you can get into the best lawyer school in town, now get dressed, I'm late"
I sit up and start getting dressed. I hear my mom walk out of the front door. check. Usually I walk to school, its normally a 10 in walk but knowing me, its 15.
Today is a very important day for me. It's the day I get to chase my dream for once. I'm auditioning for X-factor today, I'm extremely nervous, but I know this is the right thing to do. Obviously I'm not going to school. I' saved enough money to take a cab to the audition place. It's about an hour away, which isn't too bad. As I'm getting ready, I check the time and it's about 6:30 oh crap, I call a taxi and anxiously wait for it.
10 minute have passed and the cab finally shows up, I rush out the door grabbing an apple because I didn't have time for breakfast.
"where off to sweetie?" the middle aged cab driver asked.
"Um L.A. please"
"wow that's about 2 hours away, what are you going there for, you look like you're still in high school" he questioned
