Mako's P.O.V.

It was my first day as the bodyguard for the Earth Prince. I met him at his hotel suite.

"Oh hello. You must be the New bodyguard." I could tell he had been crying.

"Are you okay?" as soon as the words left my mouth I knew they shouldn't have been said.

"Of course I'm not OKAY! My only family died. My mom died when I was young and my father passed away before I was born."

"Oh...I don't mean to be rude but... I met her and she was sort of...snobby."

"I know she wasn't always the most motherly type,but she was all I had."by the time he had stopped talking he had burst into tears.

I went over to him and sat down on his bed. He leaned into me and sobbed.

I let him.

I wrapped my arms around him.

And ever since we have always shared a special bond.
